Congratulations on getting a Rakhi card and a Bildebook Rakhi. This is where you collect the Rakhi and assemble it together to wrap around your wrist.
Do follow the following steps and you’ll be done in less time than it takes to get a ticket at the movies.
Step 1: Click on “Download the pop-up Rakhi from Bildebook!” and print it. The image is 7.5″ wide by 10″ high and should be printed in that size. If you can, do use card stock, but if you don’t have access to card stock, you can print out on a normal A4 size white sheet.
Step 2: Cut the five numbered images along the borders so that you get one long strap (1), two circles (2) and (5), two stars (3) and (4).
Step 3: Now, get some glue, gum, or another adhesive of your choice and add to the black parts of images (1), (2), (3), (4)
Step 4: Now, place image (2) centered on the glued area of (1) and stick them together.
Step 5: Place image (3) centered on the glued area of (2) and stick together.
Step 6: Place image (4) centered on the glued area of (3) and stick together.
Step 7: Place image (5) centered on the glued area of (4) and stick together.
Step 8: Now place the whole Rakhi around your wrist, wrapping the strap (1) around and stick the two sides together such that it’s firm around your wrist. Voila, you’re all done and your sister’s very happy too!
Note: You can substitute a cloth ribbon or even some fancy string for the paper strap (image (1)), just follow all the step with that instead.
